Welcome to Barcelona, which is honoured to be the host for the next 11th European Conference on Molecular Electronics (ECME). The conference will be held from Wednesday 7th to Saturday 10th 2011 at L’Illa Diagonal -Auditori AXA- conference venue, located in the business centre of Barcelona city.

ECME-2011 belongs to the prestigious series of biannual conferences previously organized in Italy (Padua, 1992), Germany (Kloster Banz, 1994), Belgium (Leuven, 1996), Great-Britain (Cambridge, 1997), Sweden (Linköping, 1999), The Netherlands (Rolduc, 2001), France (Avignon, 2003), Italy (Bologna, 2005), France (Metz, 2007), and Denmark (Copenhagen 2009). Over the years, ECME has become the premier European Conference in the field.

ECME brings together leading scientists from different disciplines to discuss the latest advances in molecular electronics. The conference will cover all areas related to organic and plastic electronics including chemistry, physics, biology, materials science, nanoscience, engineering and device fabrication and commercialization. Keynote and invited lectures from eminent international scientists will be among the highlights of the scientific program.
